She wasn't prodigal or extraordinarily talented from birth, and had to acquire her knowledge and proficiency through hard work and dedication, a feat she would keep for her entire life and demand of her own students.
Eventually graduating with a Doctorate, she immediately became a teacher, feeling like the newly retired one she studied under wasn't up to the task, and implemented a hard but effective teaching strategy that got most her students frustrated, but knowledgeable.
