Personal history
Marax was born of a Soulstorm, like his sister Dalmenaa. Both of them developed out of the most massive wave of sorrow and regret ever seen in the The Beyond, and the amalgamation almost wiped the entire Cosmic Reality. Although he's not the son of the creator gods, he was accepted fairly easily in the Pantheon, filling a spot nobody else wanted to, and quite literally by his existence saving the universe.
He has since then become the God of Regrets, Sorrow, and Grief, and resides in the Beyond, where he helps lost souls accept their sadness, taking care of them until they are ready to sleep forever.
