Muurkstein Garrison
Muurkstein Garrison is an Enforcers outpost outside of Hvithavon. The garrison runs hunts into Muurk Forest to preemptively stop beasts from attacking travelers near Hvithavon. Those in Isfeljor wishing to join The Enforcers will find themselves being trained here.
Purpose / Function
To provide offensive protection against craetures of Muurk Forest and train new soldiers enlisting with The Enforcers.
Architecture
The outer walls and corner towers are made of stone. The interior side of the structure is mostly wooden. Within the walls, the living quarters, the kitchen, and the dining hall are all nestled along the southern wall. The blacksmith and armory are along the interior of the western wall. The northern wall is left clear for deployment, containing the heavy wooden reinforced gate. A central courtyard is used for training of every variety and daily drills.
History
The garrison was established in the year 202 after beasts from Muurk Forest attacked and decimated Hvithavon. Construction began with the two northern towers. It was fully completed in the year 205.
A previous note from the attack on Hvithavon:1
I visited Hvithavon soon after the attack. With so few survivors, the blood and viscera had not yet been washed away. Many kneeled, unresponsive in the streets and over their loved ones. I was unable to pull an eye-witness account of the event.

1Though the Keeper who authored the documentation of the attack was unable to get a first-hand account, many second-hand accounts have been compiled. The attack indeed decimated Hvithavon. Approximately 90% of the population was slaughtered that night.
