Agnack, the Prosperous

A short time after the ascension of Cyril and the invention of the coin currency in Amaltheon, a cunning Dwarven man began to sell off some of the masterworks he had been hoarding. Agnack Steelhand, as he was known at the time, began to sell weapons and armour to up-and-coming adventurers who were seeking to follow in the footsteps of Cyril and his party. After just a year of this, he had amassed a small fortune, enough to establish the stone port town of Bizat Onnon, just east of the Arid Lands. Agnack set up a small council of dwarves, with himself leading the group, of course, from which they would scheme to achieve divinity for Agnack. After hoarding enough wealth and magical items from paid adventurer expeditions, Agnack and a small army set out across the ocean, out into the unknown lands of Amaltheon. It is said that after months of exploring, finally Agnack and his army found their key to divinity, though many of his followers died in the ritual.   Agnack ascended and became a god of Amaltheon, where he was surprisingly greeted by the Lady of Life. He was offered his divine favour, and with this he created the realm of Halag's Kak, where great works could be created and stored forever. Agnack was not done, however, he spoke to the dwarves and other great crafters of the land and urged them to travel to an island to the east of Bizat Onnon, and many obliged. This once unknown island would come to be known as Halag's Mond. For decades now, the craftsmen and women of Halag's Mond have carved away at the natural mountains of the island and dug deep underground, collecting as many rare minerals as possible and using them to decorate their great works, which they use as tributes to Agnack and Halag's Kak.
