Yokham Steelhand
When Agnack, Yokham, and Kurmeck Steelhand arrived in Amaltheon for the first time, they shared a great bond as brothers, and helped one another succeed. They originally worked as craftsmen, helping create many weapons for the guards of Dawnbank and Firstport and gaining a lot of favour doing so. Eventually, when Cyril, the Coin Master, rose to godhood, the three brothers became rich, but Agnack was by far the richest. When Agnack sought his shot at godhood, Yokham and Kurmeck put their lives on hold to ensure that their brother could change the world as he saw fit. But for Yokham, this was merely the start of a disappointing future.
Yokham had assumed that due to his hard work on the council of Bizat Onnon, he would be rewarded as the mortal leader of his divine domain on Amaltheon, Halag's Mond. Shockingly, his brother and now god, Agnack, the Prosperous, granted that role to the youngest of the three brothers, Kurmeck. Not only that, Kurmeck poached almost all of the local talent that was hosted in Bizat Onnon, leaving the crafting capital of Amaltheon as a poor and exploitative ghost of what it once was.
This had made Yokham furious, though he still ran the dying town out of a sense of duty to all those who remained. Nowadays, Yokham and his small council try to squeeze as much profit out of the town and its workers as possible, in an attempt to build better infrastructure. The problem with this plan, however, is that it leads to make or break working conditions, those who succeed would be poached by Kurmeck in Halag's Mond, and those who could not turn a profit were effectively banished, or demoted in such a way that they would fall into debt with the town and be effectively forced to work there forever. Many believe these unhealthy working conditions are not part of Yokham's plan, but a few rumours have begun flying recently that Yokham plans to sour his divine brother's reputation by running his once prized town into the ground.
