Kurmeck Steelhand
When Agnack, Yokham, and Kurmeck Steelhand arrived in Amaltheon for the first time, they shared a great bond as brothers and helped one another succeed. They originally worked as craftsmen, helping create many weapons for the guards of Dawnbank and Firstport and gaining a lot of favour doing so. Eventually, when Cyril, the Coin Master, rose to godhood, the three brothers became rich, but Agnack was by far the richest. When Agnack sought his shot at godhood, Yokham and Kurmeck put their lives on hold to ensure that their brother could change the world as he saw fit. No one profited quite as much from this as Kurmeck.
It turns out that before Agnack, the Prosperous, ascended to divinity, he had made plans with his youngest, and more ruthless, brother, Kurmeck. It was public knowledge that Agnack sought to create a crafting city that would serve as a place of worship for him on Amaltheon, this would be known as Halag's Mond. Many thought that Yokham would take over this city, but Agnack promised it to Yokham instead, and the two made a plan to make sure this new settlement would succeed in all the ways that Bizat Onnon was starting to fail. The main change they would make was that there would no longer be a council, the whole place would be run only by Kurmeck, with divine guidance from his brother.
Many now believe that Kurmeck has spies on the Bizat Onnon council, as he always seems able to poach the best craftsmen from the dying town, and always has a ship ready to transport them over to Halag's Mond. Though not much else is known, Kurmeck has a stranglehold on who can even enter the city and ensures that all information about its goals stays entirely inside its walls.
