Desmaduke

The figure bore no face and no eyes, yet chained to his neck was a thick tome several times thicker than any book ever printed and within was written the acts of my life and the thoughts of my mind, from the time I took my first breathe until the moment I saw him there. - The Final Thoughts of Viet’ale   Often thought of as the ultimate judge of life, Desmaduke is a faceless being clothed in judge’s robes, wielding a large gavel and a thick tome containing every thought and action of the accused’s life. He is said to be a fair judge, but unyielding and unforgiving to those who are deceitful or treacherous. Many in the world consider him to be the ultimate judge after death, others say that he is the god summoned for only the most evil of beings. Others still claim he is used for a person who's soul and desires were split, and who died unsure of who they were.   Many who serve as judges or else in the job of law enforcement pray to him for guidance and wisdom in their profession.
