The Hygeia Cluster is a thicket of asteroids that librates within the Hodeth Belt. This particular family of asteroids is especially rich in a few rare metals and tholin, prompting interest from prospectors and researchers alike. In the middle of the cluster is the largest known asteroid in the Elpis system : the 300-km large rock Phi Hygeia.   Phi Hygeia is host to several mining operations belonging to a range of operators. There is also a Mewei acorn, Willow Prospect, studying local tholin concentrations on another large asteroid, Borbonica. The Hygeia Cluster is home to the ice trawler Light of Rhea which supplies local bases in water. Trailing behind the cluster is the research station Oyigiri .
