Government
While most villages of this size would not have direct noble oversight, the critical duties of the village and minor economical wealth requires their presence.
The Stoneward family rules the village and surrounding lands while their laws are enforced by the Watch Captain. This position is set by the Stoneward family.
Industry & Trade
The primary wealth of the town comes from the Iron Mine and Stone Quarry located within the Miners District. While trade through The Blight is rare, anyone choosing to complete the dangerous and expensive trip often brings expensive goods through Stonesedge. The fee for providing safe travel and taxes on goods entering The Necralis Empire brings significant additional revenue to the village and Stoneward family.
Districts
Three districts are present in Stonesedge. The wealthiest district is the Upper District located on the eastern side of the village and containing the Manorhouse, Jeweler, and Inn.
The Blight Gate District to the south of town is of lower class and contains the Warehouse, General Store, Church, along with the path into the Blight.
The final district is the Miners District contained on the hill above the town. This district includes a Tavern, Blacksmith, Iron Mine, Stone Quarry, and slums that many of the miners live in.
While not an official district; farmland worked by the Gilpin family resides to the north of town directly bordering the Upper District.
