Ingrid was born in the demiplane of Darkon. She and her husband Rudolph were doctors and scholars. She supported her husband in his adventuring, keeping in touch with him thanks to the magical trinkets his companions were able to craft for them. She was primarily responsible for raising their son Erasmus, and the boy inherited her optimistic and positive outlook, and her insatiable curiosity.
Ingrid's life came to a tragic end when her husband tangled with the Radanavich crime family. In revenge for Rudolph's destruction of their empire, a surviving member was able to find Ingrid, and kill her in front of her husband and son.
