Tiriana was barely an adult when her family overthrew the Nazdir dynasty and took their place at the head of the Samael Empire. A little under two hundred years into the dynasty, she took over for her mother as the only one of four children who wasn't dead or exiled. She was a fiscally irresponsible High Empress, and was in extremely poor health. She struggled to conceive, but did have one son. She died less than a hundred years later in very poor health.
