Voski (vaws-KEE)
Voski was created by The Abbot as a bride for Strahd. She was created using divine magic to animate body parts of those who had died in his care, stitched together. She always wears long robes, but any character within 5 feet of her can see delicate stitching holding her together. The threads glow faintly with the divine power that also grants her life.
Voski cannot speak, but she understands Common, Elvish, and Celestial. If she is harmed, she lets out a piercing shriek that forces every creature in earshot to make a DC10 Wisdom save or become Frightened of her.
The Abbot has trained Voski extensively on etiquette and is currently teaching her to dance. She is studious, possessing a natural curiosity and wonder that has not yet been drained by her surroundings. When the Abbot forgets his patients, Voski likes to help them however she can, often only able to ferry medicine and food to them. After noting that they were frightened of her stitches, she began to cover her body more to hide the scars.
If Voski is the party's fated ally, she can be persuaded to join them. She knows very little of Strahd except the careful lies that the Abbot has fed her to soften her heart towards the vampire. If she hears of the awful things he has done, she can be easily persuaded to join in the crusade against him. She has a generally peaceful demeanor, and will not willingly harm another being (except if she believes it is the only way to help another.) She will join them as a support-type NPC, providing healing and buffs with her innate divine magic.
The Abbot will not allow the party to take Voski willingly. If he becomes aware of their plans to take her from the Temple, they will need to roll very high (DC 25) Charisma, or will need to fight him.

History
The Abbot created Voski ten years ago in his attempts to redeem the vampire Strahd. He has spent the past ten years teaching her etiquette, history, medicine, and penmanship. The Abbot is dedicated to seeing Voski's purpose fulfilled at all costs. Due to the lies and half-truths the Abbot has fed her, Voski is also willing to do what she was created to do.
