Cheetah

Cheetah Felidae, renowned as the fastest beings among all Mammalians, are distinguished by their unparalleled speed, agility, and grace. Despite their slightly smaller and thinner stature compared to their Lion and Panther counterparts, Cheetahs possess a natural athleticism and elegance that sets them apart.

Speed and Agility

Cheetah Felidae are unmatched in their speed and agility, capable of reaching astonishing velocities in pursuit of their prey or in evading potential threats. Their sleek, streamlined bodies and powerful leg muscles enable them to sprint across the open plains with remarkable swiftness and precision, making them formidable hunters and skilled predators.

Claustrophobia and Free Spirits

Centuries of living on the vast, open plains have instilled a deep sense of claustrophobia in the Cheetah race. They thrive in expansive, open spaces where they can roam freely and unleash their natural speed and agility. As a result, Cheetahs are rarely found in urban environments, cities, or aboard ships, as the confinement and restriction of such settings are antithetical to their free-spirited nature.

Preference for Open Spaces

Cheetah Felidae prefer the vast expanse of the open plains, where they can roam unhindered and revel in the freedom of the wilderness. Even small towns and settlements can feel constricting to these free spirits, prompting them to seek out remote and uninhabited areas where they can roam and hunt without constraint.

Cultural Significance

Cheetah Felidae embody the spirit of freedom, speed, and agility within Felidae society, inspiring admiration and awe from their peers and allies. Their innate athleticism and grace make them symbols of agility and prowess, revered for their ability to navigate the open plains with unparalleled speed and precision.

Cheetah

Cheetah Felidae are the fastest of all Mammalians. They are thinner and slightly shorter than their Lion and Panther cousins. Centuries of living on the open plains led to their innate speed, but has also resulted in a deep claustrophobia in the race. For this reason, you will almost never find a Cheetah living in a city or on a ship. Even small towns often feel constricting to these free spirits.

Felidae

Felidae Chordatans are well known as being one of the most educated races among Mammalians, and arguably among all races. Their innate curiousity and thirst for knowledge drives them to be true lifelong learners. Due to the value their society places on education, most members of society complete some course of study whether it be academic, magical, or artistic.
Felidae tend to meet most situations practically considering all accumulated knowledge at their disposal. They prefer not to jump to conclusions or make decisions with incomplete data. They are also incredibly observant, enabling them to perceive information that others might miss. The result is the Felidae being regarded as some of the best strategists as well.
Felidae tend to be fairly private, living alone or in intimate family groups.
