Magmatic Foundry

Once almost the downfall of Paragan, Mount Nidofuoco (Nest of Fire) has been tamed and put to work. Although still active, the volcano’s internal pressure has been calmed by elemental magics and its geothermal energy harnessed to forge works of metal, glass and even obsidian. Fire elementals and Galeb Duhr call this place their home and seem to show a curious interest in the foundry’s machinations. Meanwhile, smoke mephitis and magmin can be somewhat of a nuisance from time to time.

Activities within the Magmatic Foundry are overseen by the Fabbri, high clerics of Govnos and master craftsmen, whose role is to assess the quality of crafted goods. Many of the smiths who work the many forges are aspiring Fabbri. Due to their stubbornness and desire to master crafts, a very high proportion of Fabbri are dwarves.
