Il Precipizio, of 'The Precipice' was ostensibly a temple for the Doomsayers, a Paragan-based offshoot of the Obliviati.
However, a darker purpose was at foot and this was being used as a headquarter and place of dark researches by Clavis Interitus. Inside was a vault, research papers, a portal and a clockwork dragon. This base was routed by the Thanes of Order who destroyed the clockwork dragon (but didn't raid the Vault or uncover all the research).

Mickey was born from a combination of demonic research, necromancy, Sinan Thune’s mechanical designs and a manual of flesh golems. He was constructed by Clavis Interitus as part of his research to discover a means to artificially control powerful demonic entities, turning them into little more than obedient drones. A flesh golem made parts of various fiends, Mickey has been stitched together and fitted with a metal tank and breathing apparatus that enables him to produce a poisonous cloud.
