Ormadian Repository

The Ormadian Respository is a combination of museum and library, this immense stone structure is where knowledge is collected and stored. It also serves as a temple to Ormad, the god of Knowledge   The information held within is fiercely guarded with many defences in place. Any visitors must follow the rules as stipulated, including: All bags, weapons and magic items must be checked in at the entrance and no naked flames and no natural light as this could damage the older texts and scrolls, rooms are lit by heatless continual flames.   One long scroll, the emblem of Ormad, winds its way from the left-hand side of the entrance, through the interior border of the ceiling and then winds back to the right-hand side of the entrance. The building is watched over by a giant owl named Hecho, named for the famed owl of the Valerian Empire.   No space for retaining information is wasted. The decorative murals on the wall are themselves stories and histories.
