The Copper Knuckles
The Copper Knuckles is a criminal organisation that has grown out of Hogsback, Ebrion.
Originally a gang of street urchins, as the early members grew it morphed into its own powerful criminal organisation, with fingers in many pies across the city and beyond. They employed one of their childhood members, Karnak Ironbone, to do their work as bodyguard, bouncer and general brawler for them. Others did far worse - they were associated with murders, thefts, racketeering. Despite their humble origins, the Knuckles had no issues hitting up or down. The only protection from them was membership or extortionate protection fees.
As some point as they grew, the gang spread their influence into Weslannin and eventually infiltrated local policing forces in the Town Guard. The final honest members were eliminated in a fake raid designed as a trap. Most were killed, but the ostensible leader, Lispeth Le Clerk took Irena Arbuckle, an old friend of Karnak's, as a trophy and slave.
Some time after this, the Knuckles expanded their operations into piracy. They had at least one ship, the Aerugo, captained by Le Clerk.
Le Clerk, and most of her crew, were killed by Karnak and the Thanes of Order in Cala Picaro, Kapuluga to rescue Irena. Only one crew member survived, spared as she was pregnant, and the Aerugo sold to the owner of the local shipyard.
Odlena – Female Dwarf. Karnak knew her well and they grew up together in the gang. They grew apart as Karnak found her increasingly blood-thirsty and cruel. She is pregnant
Dugald – Male Halfing. From Belegond. Joined the Copper Knuckles quite late in Karnak’s career. Karnak wasn’t surprised when he started shagging Odlena – they found equal joy in their cruelty as enforcers. A good perception check will allow to notice this two bear wedding bands
Irena Arbuckle was being kept as a slave aboard their ship. She was controlled with a Shackle of Geas, which she cannot remove and applied psychic damage if she refused to obey Lispeth. This was applied as a punish and Lispeth hated Irena, for trying to enforce the law and, in Lispeth’s view, losing the group Karnak. She was in a dirty white shift and rough brown trousers, her hair lank and greasy.

Structure
Little is known about the Copper Knuckles to those outside the organisation. The only clue is that a crew member mentioned that a fist has 5 fingers.
