History
Originally known as the Adventurers Guild, it ran successfully as a singular organization for many years. Until 1,067 when two rival adventuring teams The Pegrazi and Hogran Hulks decided to start houses of their own branding the first two houses.
Aren Pegasus - Formally The Pegrazi
Radain Rhinos - Formally Hogran Hulks
These two new houses began providing resources to new adventurers as well as training. Initially, this caused friction with the original Adventurers Guild, but all three soon realized that a head structure is required to ensure equal and fair distribution of requests between parties and to make sure that all requests are appropriately serviced by the right ranking of adventurers. So it was agreed that The League would be formed and that guilds would be allowed to build out their adventurers and facilities underneath.
Over the course of the last 1,000 or so, years guilds have formed, folded, and fused to make the current major guilds that service the needs of the realm and the adventurers that desire to form part of each of them.
In the early 1,600s the popularity grew of the guilds and the good they did for those in need of adventurers aid, as did the politics that surrounded them.
Questions arose from adventurers and guilds alike - who gets first rights over an adventurer? how long does one have to wait to become an adventurer in a guild? Is there an invite system?
Before further conflict could divide the league they fougth so hard to build. They decided to build the League of Ledgers a comprehensive document that outlines the process and eligibility of becoming an adventurer within one of the guilds of the adventurers league.
The most exciting event for new adventurers is the Match Makers Medley that forms part of the annual draft of new recruits to their guilds.
This system has been common practice for the last 180 years and ensured the greatest and fairest opportunity to all.
