Government

A ruling council of elders with representitives from all the peoples of the village.

Defences

The only defence is being build high in the treetops and the regulr patrols of the Seekers

Guilds and Factions

The seekers use the village as a stop of point between patrols and make sure to regularly visit, keeping the local pathways through the forests as safe as possible.   The Elder Council controls who can live and what work needs to be done to support the village and the land.

History

The village was created after the rise of the World Forest, there was a human settlement of the same name that was destroyed by the coming of the trees. A group of wood elves sought to establish a new settlement north of Al'vitur in search of better farming to support themselves independently, this never worked out, as the early settlers underestimated the rate of growth of the forest, which makes it impossible to keep any large area of land clear for long.

Points of interest

The village houses a collection of beautiful elven art work from the pre-forest era that is available for all visitors to view. The collection was saved and has been looked after for hundreds of years and is thought to contain some of the only remaining works of the legendary elven sculptor Fyliss Stormbow who's works were so fine that they were said to have brokered peace between the Elves and Dwarves long ago.   To the east of the village is an ancient barrow, from when the area was a valley settled by humans.

Architecture

The wooden plaforms built around the trunks of the tallest trees support buildings, linked with elaboratly decorated walkways between the platforms.

Climate

Bordering the northern lands, the climate here is autumnal all year round, the leaves of the forest are a riot of yellows, reds and browns and yet do not fall. The air is crisp and never goes as far as being warm.

Natural Resources

The village supports itself with the wood it takes from the forest, hunting forest beats and by farming a small plot of land they have cleared and keep free of trees with the help of the local druids.
