Eidolon: Phaoggi

Cataclysm & Oblivion

After the Cataclysm, an event that destroyed All- Life, the Old Gods that had perished were reborn in a place known as Oblivion. To each possessed a fragment of Divine Source, the remnant of the All-Soul. Like moths, they gathered in bloody slaughter, consuming the Divine Source from the fallen and harnessing it's power. Deprived of their memories and original forms, they fought until there was only one; from the remains of those dead, forgotten deities, rose an immortal, wicked abomination, Goddess of Destruction, Sebut Sekt.

Shortly after her birth, Sebut Sekt fell into a torpor, known as the Walking Dream. In this somnambulant state, the undesirable parts fell from her and became the first of the Eidolons. Ancient entities with the strength of fallen deities, the Eidolon are enigmatic beings that exist against Natural Order. They hold shards of the Profane Source- a twisted. shadow-form of Divine Source.

PHAOGGI
6, EIDOLON OF CONSUMPTION, LANGUISH, SPIRITUAL DECAY & TORPOR

Born from Mara Bao & Gho Tosog, Phaoggi is considered to be the 1st son of the Eidolon pairing. Phaoggi is associated with an endless hunger that drives the Eidolon to consume everything around it. To this end, it is avaricious and greedy, often working with other Eidolon to this purpose. It appears as a large, corpulent lizard with a wide, broad head and forked tongue. Beneath, rising from it's chest, is another head with a slavering maw and fangs. It's lower body is supported by six strong legs and a tail that curls behind it into the shape of a round chair. Where Phaoggi's palms should be there are fanged mouths instead; its stubby fingers round the upper palm, above the slavering mouths. Phaoggi is also said to carry a long fork or trident, which it uses to skewer it's meals. Phaoggi is concerned with it's own hunger, stopping at nothing to feed itself to no satisfaction.

Behavior & Psychology

The slothful Phaoggi spends much of it's time consuming things but it hasn't always been this way. Phaoggi was a terror that appeared throughout the Saurian and Draconian Eras, intermittently appearing to chew at the world of Pathon. However, due to a curse it received from another Eidolon, Phaoggi became obsessed with feeding itself and draining others of their appetite. Those who revere Phaoggi eat luxurious meals as a means to feed their ravenous lord. Curses of hunger and famine are often blamed on Phaoggi.
