Armageddon Division

Humanity is slowly fading away while on the defense. The Archangels all need a way to go against the alien threat directly. Their solution is the Armageddon Division. A group of elite Archangels formed with the purpose of pushing the aliens back for a change. They were kept secret to maintain the security of the safe zones, if the public was made aware, it would cause fear of a retaliation. While that threat was real, they had ways to reduce the risk. After each mission, they'd inform the commander of the Archangels, and that commander would ready the Archangels for a while after that operation.

Composition

Manpower

Only five lances of Archangels are a part of this unit. Their experience in fighting the mechanon is unrivaled among the other Archangels.

Equipment

They have all the same equipment that the Archangels proper use. They use all the same titans, and the same weapons mounted on said titans.

Tactics

They favor guerrilla tactics to fight their battles. They send a single lance into mechanon territory with their objectives. The lance strikes at a vital part of the mechanon operation, and leaves just as quickly as it arrives.

Training

The Armageddon Division consists of already trained Archangels. The only training needed is how to survive in the wild, without the ability to call for support.

Logistics

Auxilia

One pilot from the Archangels division is trusted with the knowledge of this unit, and is instructed to fly the Armageddon Division to any location they may need transport to. Their cover story for leaving the safe zone is transference of titanmasters to the other safe zone.

Recruitment

Only the most elite of Archangels even know this unit exists, let alone participates in its endeavors. Those who do, are nearly unkillable merely in terms of skill.

History

Their first engagement succeeded with minimal losses, and set the stage for several more operations launched in secret against the alien threat. Only recently, were they made public. Their knowledge was received much better than initially anticipated. The people of the safe zones viewed them as their saviors. They led the charge against the Archangels' most recent victory, the destruction of the Mechanon mothership.
