Safe Zone 2
The agricultural center of what little is left of civilization. Like the first one, the word "safe" is a false term. Mechanon raids are still a threat, the only difference between here, and in the wild, is here, there are methods to defend yourself. Bunkers are under the streets, and Archangels protect the streets above these bunkers.
Demographics
The vast majority of the inhabitants are farmers, as this is the only fertile land left after the initial invasion. Archangels are present, as to not have Archangels would be to condem the city to destruction.
Defences
Just like Safe Zone 1, walls surround the city, and anti-air cannons protect the city from any airborne strike. The Archangels' base is located near the center of the urban district.
Industry & Trade
Farming is the single greatest industry in Safe Zone 2. Half of all food is transported from here, to Safe Zone 1. Though there is some mining, and metal working, it is nothing compaired to that of Safe Zone 1.
Infrastructure
Watermills are a very common sight here, as easy access to water is vital for growing the number of crops needed to feed both safe zones. A subterranean highway runs from this safe zone, to Safe Zone 1.
Districts
The farmland covers the northern, and central parts of the territory. The southern area is the urban district, where Safe Zone 2's Archangels HQ is located.
History
This was the second safe zone made by humanity's remains. It was instantly used as an agricultural center, as this was the only real fertile land left. It served humanity well, and the farmers were paid generously for their labor. However, when the second wave of invaders arrived, their first target was Safe Zone 2, as the aliens knew that it was the source of food for most of humanity, or what was left.
Geography
Farmland covers most of the landscape of the second safe zone. Hills roll in the central areas.
Natural Resources
Agriculture is the greatest natural resource. There are some mines, but they are nothing compared to the industry of the first safe zone.
