Session 3: Godfrey? For Breakfast
General Summary
After a rousing morning of breakfast served by Godfrey, the The Wild Cards go to the docks to look for passage to the Kolmora Islands. Aliñar Daeran spies a familiar ship, the Calla's Flight, and Krusk spies a Seaback turtle from the Shattered Isles. The Seaback turtle tells Krusk her name is Opal and that they are looking for a new nesting ground since their old nesting ground was hurt. They have come east from the Shattered Islands and are going to continue east, around Mur.
Pitri ran off to find something leafy to feed Opal, finding some Sailor's Green (a mild medicinal/addictive plant.) Alinar intervened to take the leaf, and stores it away. The group moves on to the former ship of Alinar. She shouts, "Hi Lysander!" "Hi Ali!"
A halfling woman approached Alinar and says "You look well dear."
Wiliman introduced himself to the halfing woman, named Mara.

Various other crew made up of mostly humans, a few dwarves and two gnolls.
"Come with me," said Roland, "I'll find something for you all to do."
The Calla's Flight is a serviceable ship of 3 decks. The figurehead is a mer-sextopus The middle deck is mostly hammocks and guns, towards the front is the galley. In the middle deck, there is a locked room home to Wendy, who is not to be disturbed. Near the kitchen is a blood stained bench and several medical tools. The lower decks are crew/passenger quarters and storage.
As The Wild Cards are led below decks and introduced to Doc Chopper, a gruff lizardman physician.
After a thorough tour of the ship, an 8 foot tall bushy bearded, tattooed Goliath picks up Alinar from behind and squeezes her. After some reunions between Alinar and her former crewmates, Kas approaches Ali.
"Hello! I think you know I took over for you, and I want you to know that you left some big shoes to fill" said Kas to Ali.
After an hour, the ship is loaded and sets sail.

R'kir makes a delicious batch of "Pork" chops. The storm continues.
Day 4
Wiliman serenades the crew with his rendition of Misty Mountains Hop, Bo the goliath even joins in with his accordion.
Day 5
Roland checks on the on longboats and rigging, making sure that everything is in order. He finds a rolled up sailcloth. Looking into the cloth, he sees a scalp and hair. He sounded the alarm, the entire crew comes from below decks. Krusk examined the corpse. Its face is obscured and blurred and the throat slit. R'kir searches the corpse and finds a locket, picking the lock Leif finds a picture inside it. With a signal, Roland tips off Ali and the captain. Sensing the time is up
The rogue card's image only fills in a quarter of the way, this is odd.
The party explains their quest, to destroy a small army of immortal magic tarot card people. Taking it all end, and then Tossing back an entire bottle of RUM, Lysandre responded, "You're on this ship to go destroy one of these things, aren't you?"
"Yes," they replied in unison.
"Well, they've murdered one of my own. At least until you fill this card, my ship and my crew are at your disposal."
"Roland," he said, "go wake Wendy, we need to make tracks."
Roland ran below decks to Wendy's room, and activates a device, signaling Wendy that it is time, time to make great haste.
As the room begins to glow, Roland steps out and heads above decks.
Some perpendicular masts extend from the sides of the ships, with sails extended. They begin to flap, speeding the ship on her journey. (This is an elemental engine) The Calla's Flight finishes her flight in 5 hours, saving a whole day of travel. She comes to rest at the thriving port of Fort Gustav.
Roland tells them that the best place to relax is The Rum Drum, known for its delicious flavored rums and even more delicious serving men and women.
Wiliman and Pitri, organize a rousing performance of a new song, "Pitri the Terrible Dragon," during which, Leif attempts to pickpocket a wealthy looking orc. and an attempted pickpocketing by Leif, they ask the bartender for information. She points them to Cirdore, a surly sage who lives on the northern end of the town, near Fort Gustav.
The bartender tells them that several children between 8-12 have gone missing over the last two months and that the soldiers in the nearby fort have been on alert looking for them. The most recent child who went missing was the son of Jonas, a halfling fisherman. Jonas' home is on the southern tip of the port, but she warns its been a rough week. His wife is inconsolable and probably wouldn't be open to many questions.
Krusk goes to visit Cirdore, an aquatic elf sage, renowned for his wisdom as much as his offputting manners. Krusk explains his quest to him and follows him to his library, half wine cellar.
"I've heard news of the Kol'Mora tribe on Shantaria, they've been ordering more supplies and tools lately. Ships have had crates and barrels go missing. The food remains, but many of the containers and tools go missing."
Cirdore relates that he has found some information on the Soft Scale disease: non-reptilian humanoids in Azmayne have been afflicted with a scaly disease, but the aside from that the symptoms are equal to the soft scale.
K joins R'kir in going to Fort Gustav. The beleaguered blue sea elf captain Angelo tells them he has almost no information. He has sent out patrols the last 5 days and nights. They have turned up nothing. He relates that the mother of the missing girl said she was outside the house, hanging up the linens, while the girl was playing near the tree line. One moment he was there and another moment she was gone.
Ali goes looking for Vatu, a merman, and her ex-boyfriend. (She ghosted him) She presses him for information on any rumours, especially with items disappearing missing. He relates that the sea elves of Shanta'Aira have had tools and crates go missing and that food has become scarce down south.
"How have you been Vatu?" asked Aliñar.
"Do you even care" said Vatu.
"Kinda..." Alinar shrugged.
"Well at least you're honest," he replied, with palpable heartbreak in his voice. He remembered that she had always been free spirited and a little self centered. She was like the ocean itself, Vatu had been a fool to think he could tame her.
Leif, having evaded his pursuers, finds himself in the tropical forest near the town. He prepares a disguise so he can return to the town. After making some preparations and donning a moustache, he notices a humming voice coming from nearby. Upon investigation he finds a dark-skinned young woman, filling water skins near a stream. She has a pouch hanging from her left hip. As she stands up from filling the skins, Leif notices she is actually 6' 5" tall, and her skin is not just dark but purple. Horns protrude from her forehead and curl back towards her neck. A lump formed in Leif's throat...this wasn't a woman, it was a night hag-from his mother's bedtime stories. He fled, hoping to rejoin his new companions and see what they have found.
Putting together the pieces, the party decides that the only option was to go kill this Night Hag that was murdering local children. In the dead of night, they set off to find the lair of this hag.
