Orb of Enhancement/Mutation

The Orb of Enhancement was one of the Orbs of Power. It was a powerful and volatile transmutive artifact created by the ancient stoutfolk.
The ancient mazefolk found the orb in the Ancient Howlpeak Laboratory and brought it to Subterranea with them, believing its power would be useful to them. It was acquired and used by the Carnabrex Coterie's leader Vhonraema Vimmrath to "evolve" coterie members up until it was stolen by two demons. The orb's power thoroughly twisted and intertwined the demons with each other, and the morphed miscreation fled into the Labyrinth as one mutated form. A group of adventurers defeated them and recovered the orb during 2024-03-16 Demons in the Labyrinth, then sent it to the Bastion of Dreams.

Powers

The Orb of Enhancement afflicts anyone who touches, attacks, or casts a spell on it with a random mutation. The artifact's power can be removed with greater restoration, but only once per creature.
