Education
Due to his noble birth, Roland was educated well throughout his childhood. He was tutored at his home in Vandemn until the age of 14, where he went to the academy of Alverton for more general education as well as martial training for his role as a gunslinger. He left the academy at age 17 with orders from his dad to evacuate, with the goblin fronts closing in. During his time in Vandemn after that, he was trained by Rohan Pacheco, a close family friend, and retired gunslinger from a minor house. By age 20 the war was over, but his father had died. He completed his gunslinger training soon after.
Employment
Served his time as a knight in various posts around the western border regions of Sarton, notably serving time in Eaglewatch. He went back to Vandemn several times when his role as the overseer of the town was required.
