Adelphi and Tarron met while Adelphi was visiting Thyllnor on official royal business. Tarron was assigned to her guard duty, even though it wasn't his normal job. At first he was very reluctant to even speak to the 16 year old girl, but she quickly got him to warm up to her. Adelphi, being groomed by her adoptive father King Rhys and being absolutely disgusted by it, took every opportunity she could get to take diplomatic trips especially if they were to Thyllnor. Over the next three years, Adelphi made many trips to Thyllnor and Tarron was assigned to her guard duty every time and the two quickly fell in love. The two had begun to plan a future together, since one day Adelphi would ascend to the throne. Tarron unofficially proposed to Adelphi on one of her final trips to Thyllnor, and said he would leave his duties in Thyllnor to be by her side. After her father's unfortunate, and sudden, death during a visit to Thyllnor, Adelphi ascended to the throne and became Queen Adelphi Oselwatt. Shortly after taking the throne, she announced her engagement to Tarron and they were soon wed.

Tarron dotes on his daughter constantly and encourages her in every aspect she choses. He has tried on several occasions to get to take up a bow and learn from him, but she has very little interest in it. Most of Elincia's interest lie within her magic. While Elincia does love her father, she has a typical father/daughter relationship with him that most 16 year old girls do.
