Adelphi and Tarron met while Adelphi was visiting Thyllnor on official royal business. Tarron was assigned to her guard duty, even though it wasn't his normal job. At first he was very reluctant to even speak to the 16 year old girl, but she quickly got him to warm up to her. Adelphi, being groomed by her adoptive father King Rhys and being absolutely disgusted by it, took every opportunity she could get to take diplomatic trips especially if they were to Thyllnor. Over the next three years, Adelphi made many trips to Thyllnor and Tarron was assigned to her guard duty every time and the two quickly fell in love. The two had begun to plan a future together, since one day Adelphi would ascend to the throne. Tarron unofficially proposed to Adelphi on one of her final trips to Thyllnor, and said he would leave his duties in Thyllnor to be by her side. After her father's unfortunate, and sudden, death during a visit to Thyllnor, Adelphi ascended to the throne and became Queen Adelphi Oselwatt. Shortly after taking the throne, she announced her engagement to Tarron and they were soon wed.

Adelphi gave birth to Elincia on the 20th of Noats, 816 P.W.E. Adelphi and Tarron chose the name Elinica, which is his mother's middle name. Tarron unfortunately doesn't have contact with his mother anymore, since his father died, even though he has tried to reach out to her and let her know about her only grandchild. Adelphi holds Elincia to a very high standard, and is extremely proud of every accomplishment she has ever made, praising her every chance she gets. Any time Elincia fails, Adelphi is there to encourage her to get back up and try again because failure is bound to happen.
