The Dragon Sea is the ocean that lines the Western Continent and the Golden Lands. It borders Cathay, Dragon Kingdom, Dunlain, the Golden Khanate, and encompasses the islands of Ado.

About

The Dragon Sea was originally named by the early Romanoran settlers in the west, who named it after its powerful waves and largely unforgiving waters. It is largely for this reason that even the mighty and masterful elves of Cathay had largely shunned travel by sea, seeing its difficulties better suited to their servants. Today, the Dragon Sea is more easily crossed largely thanks to improvements in maritime technology. In large part to the elves' aversion of the Dragon Sea, it is more often used as a trade or transport route between the other nations that adjoin it, namely Ado, Dunlain, and Mujmal.
