Akophet the Eternal

Akophet the Eternal was once the ruler of The Fallen Empire of Khermi and the arrogant king that enabled the downfall. He allowed the Cult of Mortis to rise in his pursuit of immortality, and in turn created the The Sundered City and allowed for Cai-ban, the Everlasting to rise as a demi-lich. Some say the Eternal, frustrated with the cult and paranoid about their rise, Akophet struck a secret deal with Zaridun, The Changer of Ways and this clash destroyed the empire. Myrkul, The Lord of Bones and Zaridun, The Changer of Ways hate each other, and Akophet's scheming between the gods turned him into a demon lord himself. He still pits Zaridun, The Changer of Ways and Myrkul, The Lord of Bones against each other, and claims domain himself within the Shadowfell.
