The Sundered City
The Epicenter of The Fallen Empire of Khermi, The Sundered city is a dangerous place even for the most experienced adventurers. It is here the necromatic energy is the strongest, and the dead have continued to pour from the Shadowfell onto this plane. There are various holy warrior orders and monastaries with hidden sanctuaries all over this city, doing what they can to stem the tide, or at least control what leaves.
Various great liches battle here against each other, trying to control the power of the Fallen Empire, battling for the scraps that remain. These liches and mummy lords command great undead armies, constantly battling over sections of the city, which over one hundred miles in size. Those unlucky enough to get captured risk being made a thrall in the undead wars here.
