Clan Akaanir
Clan Akaanir is one of the largest remaining clans of Be'Teu people in Varda. They have been called by other Be'Teu as the Settled, or Root Takers for abandoning the nomadic way of life that the Be'Teu had established for centuries. The Akaanir clan were the first to settle the city of Jedha.
They now rule over the settlement, in conjunction with the Musara Union. They field their own sheriffs and warriors alongside those of the Rumh Guard , and most of them operate out of the Temple of Tymora, The Coinmaiden.
