Jon is focussed on the financial prosperity of Villane not politics. Anything that might disrupt the prosperity of his town he will deal with harshly. Jon inherited the Villane from his father who mismanaged his responsibilities. He learned from those mistakes and has corrected the trajectory since he came into power.
