The elder of the duo running the Fuyuzoraya (Winter Sky Inn) in the northern city of Yukijima, Hideki is the 'brains' behind operation of the Inn, where his younger sister has largely taken up the patron-facing service end of the business. Bookish, keen-minded, and reserved, while not quite as spirited as his sister, Hideki cares just as much for the Inn they run, as the patrons that visit it.
