Yuki Sasaki (Yoo-kee Sah-sah-kee)
Doting mother to Aya and wife of Aoki. Yuki Sasaki was a gifted seamstress living in the tiny village of Kanamura in far north-western Terawa, the northmost island of the Kyokan archipelago. Although many with her degree of skill would likely have moved south to a larger city or town to ply their trade, Yuki found her happiness in staying close to her family in the mountains, and using her trade to clothe her fellow villagers, or to mend all things fabric.
Tragically, one a night of ill fate, doom befell the village of Kanamura, in which creatures of the Abyss descended the mountains in the silence of night and massacred the inhabitants. Any who hadn't been killed outright were turned Feral as Oni. In her and Aya's defense, her husband Aoki was slain in front of them. The fate of Yuki is thus far unknown as any remaining bodies were burned, devoured, or went missing, but there is one person that may indeed know of her fate--her daughter Aya, who remains the sole survivor of the village, unbeknownst to the rest of the world.
