Dove
Simply known as Dove, the master of shadow and light of the Companions grew up in the war-torn wastes of Coruscare. Only wanting to help people live freely and thrive, he believed the warlords of Coruscare were the only thing keeping people down with their constant fighting. This led him to participate in many rebellions in an attempt to rid the country of warlords. These generally led nowhere as the country had been at war for hundreds of years already. After many years of fighting, a group of warlords realized Dove may be involved in starting these rebellions and captured him. Instead of creating a martyr, they sent him to a foreign nation to become their prisoner. He spent a decade in prison, which dulled his abilities and made him somewhat jaded. After being transferred again on a prison ship to Crescentia, Dove met the other founding members of the Companions.
During the course of his adventures, Dove faced off against threats ranging from bandits to demi-gods. He searched for the truth behind the world’s greatest conflicts. Helped people wherever he went and brought them together. Earned the trust and admiration of several nations. With all of the discoveries Dove made over the course of the Companions' adventures, he recorded them and later published them in the book "Dove's Account", which even details all of the information Dove learned regarding The Alphacians.
During his journey, Dove died at the hands of The Will of Nex, but managed to be resurrected by the party.
When Nex - The Screaming Tyrant returned to the mortal realm in 1001 3A, Dove initially lost hope that Nex could be defeated, especially after witnessing what the Fallen Ancient had done to Selune - The DawnMother. Bolstered by the resolve of his friends, however, Dove became Selune's champion, even wielding Solaris itself in her stead.
After performing the ritual to banish Nex himself, Dove helped Crescentia to rebuild before returning to his home country of Coruscare. Now armed with the wisdom to help build it up with cooperation and lead people by his own example, Dove remains there with the same goal he has always held; helping people live freely and thrive.
