Stryder Blackstrand

After his father was assassinated and he was framed for the murder, the young prince of the Kingdom of Shegoth was put on a prison ship bound to Crescentia. Changing his name from Arcano, the man known as Stryder would later become one of the founding members of the adventuring party known as The Companions. Becoming the group's strongest warrior, Stryder would go on to clear his name and avenge his father's murder, although he learned that his friend Dagorn was the one who unknowingly slew his father. He would also court and later marry Maven Dallywix Blackstrand, a former leader of The Followers of Nex. When Nex - The Screaming Tyrant returned to the mortal realm in 1001 3A, Stryder was one of the first to lead the defense against the Fallen Ancient. He became a champion of the Ancient Paires - The Gentle Giant, and forged Retribution in order to combat Nex and his undead forces. After Nex was banished using divine shackles that Stryder also forged, Stryder helped to rebuild the Crescent Empire. He would then go on to act as an ambassador from the Kingdom of Shegoth to all the nations of Arkos, choosing to have his mother rule Shegoth as Queen. Regarded as a great hero by many across Western Arkos, Stryder continues in his ambassadorial role in the hopes of uniting all the nations against threats that may arise in the near future...
