“I presume you’re bothering me for a good reason, general? I don’t often have time to play with my toys, and I would hate to be interrupted before my guests arrive.” - Nex, regarding Teg Trickfoot
Often referred to as the heart and soul of the Order of the Eclipse, Teg Trickfoot the Halfling wizard was the last but certainly not least member to join
Mythra Crescentia's campaign against
Nex and his
Black Empire. Originally a sea-bound explorer, Teg was well versed in the arcane and aeromantic arts before joining the fight in the Eclipse War, rumored to have strong ties to the ancient
Dulcis. It is also rumored that, while it is no secret Teg and
Golag Eagle-Eye were the best of friends on the battlefield, the two may have been romantically involved with each other.
Unfortuantely for Teg, the accounts of the Eclipse War tell that she may have suffered the most at the hands of Nex, being captured and brutally tortured by the Screaming Tyrant himself before the war's end. After the founding of the
Crescent Empire, Teg likely never quite recovered from her experience with Nex, and went on to sail the seas of Western Arkos once more. According to some scholars and the accounts of the adventuring party The Companions, Teg amassed a large fortune in a submerged cove off the Eastern shore of
Crescentia known as the Trickfoot Treasure Trove, where she eventually lost her life together with her friend Golag.
