The Idyll Keepers

The Idyll Keepers serve as the law enforcement of the Oreion Inquisition and its territories. The Keepers are not restricted by the noble house borders of the Inquisition, as the powerful Iudex serve as judge, jury, and executioners of the Keepers. While they are tasked with maintaining order and justice in Oreion, the Keepers are also responsible for rooting out and exposing the unsanctioned/unregulated practice of the magical arts. This, along with a number of other crimes, are strictly prosecuted.

Theft: 6-12 days incarceration and/or a fine of twice the worth of the stolen goods.
Worship of Non-Inquisition sanctioned figures: 60 days incarceration and a fine of 300 gold.
Unlicensed Slavery: 12-16 months incarceration and a fine of 1500 gold.
Trespassing: 12 days incarceration and/or fine of 215 gold.
Tax Evasion: 5-30 days incarceration and a repossession of property equal to the amount owed.
Damage to Private Property: 5-15 days incarceration or a fine of twice the worth of property damaged.
Damage to Crown Property: 15-60 days incarceration and a fine of twice the worth of property damaged.
Kidnapping: 60 days incarceration and/or a fine of 800 gold.
Unsanctioned practice of Regulated Magical Schools and/or enchantment: 3-5 years incarceration and/or a fine of 1,000 gold.
Practice of Void, Fel, or Blood Magic and/or the necromantic arts: 8-16 years incarceration, and/or permanent removal of magical abilities.
Assault with Intent to Injure: 30 days incarceration and/or a fine of 350 gold.
Assault with Intent to Kill: 250 days incarceration and/or a fine of 3,000 gold, or execution.
Murder: 10-15 years incarceration, and/or a fine of 6,000 gold, or execution.
Treason: Execution.
