The Kindling
"The skies will burn, the seas will boil, and this world and all the mortals that dwell upon it shall be remade to reflect my glorious image!" - Nex
First discovered in The Companions initial battle with the recently released fallen Ancient Nex, the Kindling is a planet-wide ritual powered by Nex himself and his connection with both The Void and The Eclipse Stone. The ritual functions by slowly burning away the Anima of everything living thing on the world it is enacted upon, followed then by the world itself. The anima is then converted into raw material to be used by the caster to create a new world of their choosing.
Fortunately, the Kindling enacted by Nex was stopped and reversed due to the efforts of The Companions, though its power is still fresh in the minds of many denizens of Arkos.
