Zavok - The Feral Maw
There was a brief moment where sanity returned to Zavok during the year-long conflict. He beheld with clarity his sister's broken body before him. Her blood staining his claws. Joriel was able to slay him after his rage subsided. Perhaps that is what Zavok desired...Brother to the Prime Ancient, Xelar, Zavok was the Ancient of Beasts, Adaptation and Exploration during the First Age. Driven mad during The Cataclysm by what many scholars believe to be The Elder Ones, Zavok became the Fallen Ancient of Monsters and slew his sister in a mad rage. He was later slain by the Prime Ancient Joriel, but not before he inflicted various wounds on the Diamond Drake. Many scholars believe Zavok to be a source of various monsters that litter the surface and underdark of Arkos since the beginning of the Second Age. While he is considered deceased, there are some mortals that still follow and worship the Fallen Ancient, leading some to question just how absent the perished ancients really are. Those who frequently surrender to their more base and animalistic instincts, such as lycanthrops, may seek Zavok's favour.
