Finellen of Krynn (FINN-ell-EN uh-v KRIN)

Finellen of Krynn was the former Princess of Ekkag'varum, Lady of Clan Brightforger. She is the wife of Atridhir of Clan Brightforger.

Finellen of Krynn, the former Princess of Ekkag'varum, stood as a luminous figure in the annals of Dwarven history. When the shadows of tragedy descended upon her city and her father-in-law, King Ofniir of Clan Brightforger, was tragically murdered, she and her husband Atridhir of Clan Brightforger chose the path of exile, leaving behind the ancestral halls of Kiraad'duvuun. But this departure marked the beginning of her profound journey as a renowned natural healer and a faithful devotee of the old ways.

In the heart of the mountains and deep within the embrace of the ancient forests, Finellen found her solace. With devotion as strong as the roots that anchored the tallest trees, she followed the ways of the dwarven pantheon, the Brevilus. Among them, she held Fraeyha, the Seeing Mother, in the highest regard. The goddess bestowed upon her the gift of prophetic insight, allowing her to peer into the veiled tapestry of destiny. Alongside Fraeyha, she revered Vodn, the God Chief and Father of Dwarves, and Drogth, the Death Father and twin of Vodn.

Guided by her unyielding faith, Finellen conducted her worship rituals in the mountains and forests, as the diverse pantheons of her chosen deities required. It was in these sacred spaces that she found her connection with the divine most profound, often gaining insight into the secrets of time and fate. Her prophetic powers, granted by Fraeyha herself, were not without their controversies, as some temples questioned her interpretations of the Brevilus' messages.

The extent of her abilities became evident when she began to unravel plots and conspiracies against her husband, Atridhir prior to their fleeing of Kiraad'duvuun. Her warnings, whispered by the divine, prevented several dangers from coming to fruition. Yet, as with any gift of such magnitude, suspicion and doubt followed in her wake.

Some dwarven temples, protective of their established interpretations of the Brevilus, viewed her revelations with skepticism, fearing she might add her own spin to the timeless prophecies. Some saw the druidic traditions she ascribed to as threats to their civilized worship of the Brevilus. Though through her steadfast devotion and the burden of her prophetic mantle, Finellen stood as a beacon of faith, guiding her people with wisdom from the gods she held dear. She was both a healer of wounds and a healer of spirits, mending the wounds of her people while navigating the intricate paths of prophecy. The legacy of Finellen of Krynn, the Princess who became a seer, would resonate through the ages, forever carving her story into the stone tablets of the histories of the Brightforger Clan.

It is unknown where her and Atridhir fled, although it is rumored that the pair were behind the murder of King Ofniir. King Yungiir of Clan Brightforger has ensured the dwarven folk of Ekkag'varum that Atridhir and Finellen of Krynn pose no threat as he has ensured their eternal demise.
