Hunter's Guild
Tooth and claw for the survival of beast and man.
Originally known as Idaenoal's Outrun Hunters, the Hunter's Guild act more as conservationists of nature and the balance many creatures have with civilization then purely as hunters. Acknowledging that to only hunt would one day wipe out most of the creatures of the world. And as such act to preserve the balance of nature to continue the eternal hunt.
Their primary focus is the culling or capturing of creatures that have become a danger to the area around them or to nearby civilized areas, whether due to a change in the environment, a territorial dispute, or an outside source causing a frenzy. These are reported to either the Adventurer's Guild or the Hunter's Guild and then appropriately placed on the Guild's quest list for their Hunters to accept and complete. These quests are taken one at a time as the guild uses these to also keep track of their hunter's locations and to ensure proper communication and immediate knowledge of the quest's completion.
The guild itself uses a Star system to represent it's hunters' skill and ranks, in comparison to the Adventurer's Guild's Metal Rank system and Mage's Guild's Magi system. This acts to limit monsters to hunters with certain amounts of silver or golden stars so that more dangerous monsters are only dealt with by equally exceptional hunters, though this does not prevent or punish hunters for defending themselves if need be from stronger monsters then the guild would let them deal with normally.
