The World Mage Association, otherwise known as the Mage's Guild is the most prominent union of mages on the material plane, spanning the entire globe. it's main purpose is the research and invention of new magic and magical devices for both private and public use as well as acting as both a reservoir of knowledge for mages and teaching new generations of mages magic or to handle their innate magic. Existing as a independent individual while still also providing advisory services to nation, the World Mage Association has centers in nearly every town in either the commercial or mage's district of the town, as well as massive spiraling headquarters on each continent. They also maintain and install the magical devices public throughout cities such as the Infospheres, primarily seen in larger cities. The ranking system within the guild is a magi system, your ranking tying to the title placed on you, starting with Mage Apprentice all the way to Archmagi, and Grand Magi. The symbol of the mage's guild itself represents contained and harnessed magic.
