Gremlin

These sadistic members of the Goblinoid family are primarily found near the Witchwood, but have recently been seen in the southern regions of Elunore near the Great Swamp. They are the most intelligent of the goblinoid family and have access to an assortment of destructive and subversive spells. While they would be no match for an experienced wizard, they might well put a dagger in his back before he demonstrated his superior magic. They stand roughly four and a half feet tall and have over-sized ears with piercing, pupiless, red eyes.

Gremlins have demonstrated the ability to speak any language presented to them and it is unknown whether they possess a language of their own.

Culture and cultural heritage

Not much is known about gremlins. They rarely are seen in groups and are not known for visiting mayhem on the same location twice. No culture has been observed and the best guess that recent scholars have as to their origins is that they may be an abomination created by a particularly violent Unseelie Fey that managed to get hold of some poor tribe of hobgoblins.
