Infection

There is only one recorded incident of the infection. A strange creature, widely accepted to be a Beyonder, appeared in Northern Altria where it made contact with a farmhand. The farmhand rapidly began mutating into a horrid, monstrous, construct-like creature that rampaged into the neighboring town. All mortal creatures that made contact with the mutant began mutating themselves. Had Arbitriel not appeared and decimated the creatures (as pictured in this article), it is likely the infection would have overtaken the kingdom in a matter of weeks.

The infection is transmitted via touch.

Symptoms

Upon a mortal species (such as Humans, Elves, Goliaths, or Dwarves) making contact with a Beyonder, the subject immediately begins mutating rapidly.

Treatment

There is no treatment, termination is the only available option.
