Sarah Voss
Sarah Voss is a former political and environmental scientist, survivor of the Great Cataclysm, and the renowned author of the document known as the Ashrain Manifesto. Her efforts to unify humanity in the decade following the devastation of Earth by the alien Ash Gods nearly revivified human culture and civilization beneath the ash clouds of the new world. However, tragically, the disease known as the Searing Plague wiped out over two-thirds of the remnants of humanity before her work could reach its goal, scattering the remainder of mankind to the winds.
Sarah was renowned as a storyteller and a writer whose mastery of prose and of forgotten human history made her a monumental figure in the aftermath of the destruction of human culture. Following the Great Cataclysm, she consolidated all of her knowledge into a library, the only such location in the entirety of Ashrain at that time. As more and more people rallied to their cause, the library became a central location for their base of operations from which they sought to unify the remnants of humanity into a civilized society once again. Also known by her followers as 'the Librarian', Sarah Voss would use her knowledge to educate and inform countless individuals about the history of the human race before the arrival of the Ash Gods, lessons that would endure even after the devastation of the Searing Plague. By her efforts, the knowledge of what humanity used to be was preserved in the generations to come, ensuring that humanity had a chance of survival in the harsh, devastated new world.
