Diamant Hills

Diamant Hills is one of the fifteen provinces of Austur. It's neighbouring provinces are Ravaant to the west, and Patria to the east. It is also bordered to the south by the Southern Sea and to the north by forbidden The Viridescent Sea.
The capital city of Diamant Hills is Nohil.
Diamant Hills, along with Patria, is one of the so called "inlander" provinces, since it has no direct connection to the River Rothum. It is argued by citizens of Patria and Diamant Hills that Drylands, Maridion and Inesh Daan are not directly connected to the River Rothum either. However, it is in turn argued by the citizens of those provinces, and tacitly supported by the Council, that since the River Rothum flows out directly into and through Vaari Aava and Caalesh Sound before reaching the open sea, those provinces count as being "on the Rothum". The use of the term "inlander" has become considered offensive by most young Austurians, as it is generally accepted that the term is used to deride against the pale skinned inhabitants of Patria and Diamant Hills who are for the most part descendants of Septurn refugees.
