Soreana ([sɔɹianə])
God of honor, loyalty, and war
Of the gods in the Astalian pantheon, none has a more complicated relationship with their domain than Soreana, the Warmother. Soreana is a proud and strict figure, holding herself and her followers to high standards of honor and loyalty, though she is not unkind. War, to Soreana, embodies the worst side of herself, yet it is inseparable from the domains of which she is a proud embodiment.Domains and flavor
Soreana's most devoted followers tend to be paladins, adhering to their oaths above all else. Her clerics are largely in the War, Order, and Peace domains.Myths and relationships
When the mortals and the first generation gods were young, Soreana fell in love with a mortal and bore her child: the god Pomera. Before Pomera was born, though, her lover was erased, becoming the Forgotten. When Pomera was born, Soreana felt the emptiness of her forgotten lover, and in her grief manifested a second child, the god Okett.Religious influence
Peoples at war turn to Soreana for providence, though she rarely makes her influence known to them. Her wisdom is granted more often to those struggling to keep promises, who offer up prayers for the strength to do right.Divine Symbols & Sigils
