Theodosius Nomikos
Master of Philosophy and Magical Theory
Theodosius is one of the most respected professors at the Arcanium East, heading the department of Philosophy and Magical Research. He often gives public lectures at the Amphitheater of Astera, which are just as well attended as musical performances or theater productions, and acts as an advisor to numerous members of Nikea's council. He is an outspoken Nikean nationalist, and believes Nikea should be free and independent from both the Hadrianic Empire and the influence of their rival city-state, The Laconis.
The Scions recently saw Theodosius retrieve the fake Serasian Control Stone from the dead drop at the university library. They followed him back to his villa off campus, but his villa seems to be well protected by some sort of magical barrier.
After a brazen attack on the Laconins guarding the Tomb of the Unknowns by a group of necromancers claiming to be members of the Order of Flame and Sigil, the Scions of Hersey infiltrated one if its initiations only to discover that Theodosius was, in fact, the leader of the Order of Flame and Sigil, and that he was working with the Arch Magus to rid Nikea of Krom, the Imperials, and their Laconin allies.
The Scions pursued Theodosius to his hidden lair in Danathar, a ruined Eladrin city beneath Nikea. The Scions managed to kill Theodosius, but not before he could arm the explosives set at Krom's temple. Theodosius died thinking he had ultimately beaten the Scions - with Krom's temple destroyed, he believed the Imperials and the Laconins would be too weak to defend the city.
The Scions ultimately defused the explosives set by Theodosius's minions, sabotaging his final plans.
