Tsaamit (TSAH-meet)
With their lanky limbs and blue-tinged skin, the Tsaamit are among the more unusual-looking intelligent races to be found in the Middle Realm. They're wanderers at heart, even more so than the Twolligs, with a tendency to drift across Chengai, Tasawa, and Kameshk alone or in small groups, visiting a variety of locations and never settling in one place for long.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Tsaamit are bipedal, with two arms and two legs. They have two sets of horns on their heads, one small and the other larger, both of which are lightly ridged.
Genetics and Reproduction
Gestation lasts around 270 days.
Growth Rate & Stages
After birth, young Tsaamit are feeble and require constant care. They grow and steadily become more independent until they physically mature at the approximate age of 20 years. Puberty begins at around age 15. Mental maturity is completed at around 25 years.
Ecology and Habitats
The Tsaamit can make a home in all but the most extreme climates. While they can't stand conditions that are too harsh, they still thrive in a variety of Middle Realm environments.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The Tsaamit are omnivorous and consume both plant and animal products.
Behaviour
They are driven to travel in wide, circuitous routes around the area where they were born. The routes may vary in size and direction, but they're usually circular. Sometimes a Tsaamit may visit the same places over and over each time they complete their route. Other times, they might prioritize stopping at new locations.
